The Regimental Black and Gray "James Bond" watch strap was born following a brief flash of Bond looking at his Rolex Submariner 6538 or 5510 in the film "Goldfinger". However it appears to be a 16 mm strap on 20 mm lugs... Don't you just hate to see that?
Anyway... A few years ago, GQ magazine ran an article on Bond's gizmos and gadgets, including his watches. GQ approached the MoD strap manufacturer to commission the "Bond" strap for a competition. The strap they commissioned was a simple flat strap, not the NATO style. The colors are actually the genuine regimental colors of the General Service Corps and are also the colors of a London Gentleman's private club.

Technical information:
Material: This NATO strap is made of extremely durable, yet soft and comfortable handwoven nylon.
Length and thickness: The NATO strap is 1,2 mm thick and 27 cm long which fits almost any wrist, and is very easy to shorten and tuck in.
Hardware: Solid 316L stainless steel with a polished shiny finish, off course 100% nickel free.
Other information: The strap has 12 laser sealed holes, that doesn't fray up.
Important about the 28 mm size. The 28 mm strap is stitched together, not glued together as the strap in the picture.
