Tusenö is an interesting watch brand from Sweden that launches its first collection on Kickstarter. I had a conversation with one of the founders of Tusenö earlier this week:
Since early 2014 we have design and developed a series of watches that we are extremely proud of. They are now avilable for pre-order via Kickstarter - www.tuseno.com.
We’ve had a clear idea from the start where to find our inspiration, the place where we both grew up - the Swedish west coast. A beautiful place filled with important memories for us.
The love and passion for watches is something we’ve carried with us for a long time and so is the dream of creating our own watch brand.
Our first collection of watches is named "First 42". The name represents Tusenö's first model and the case diameter being 42 mm
“First 42 is developed and aimed for both watch enthusiasts and those wanting to
buy their first real watch. First 42 is the everyday watch that the broad audience
can wear and feel proud of.”
-Alexander Bendz, Co-Founder Tusenö
One of our guiding principals is to design watches that will never go out of style. Classic, simple watches with subtle details, a touch that gives you that little extra. In other words, create watches that will keep you intrigued for years to come.
”Our goal is to get Tusenö to become an established watch brand within the next 10
years, we will reach this by producing the best possible watches for our customers."
- Johan Holsner, Co-Founder
First 42, comes in four different versions; Rosé gold/black dial, rosé gold/white dial,

Included with the watch is a beautiful piano black lacquered box, two watch straps and a strap changing tool that makes it a lot easier to switch between the two.
